Iranian short film ‘Retouch’ directed by Kaveh Mazaheri will compete in the Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF) in March.
The Fribourg festival in the Swiss city of the same name will add 'Retouch' to a list of other Iranian films to be screened at the event.
Co-produced by Mazaheri and the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ tells the story of a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes while she cannot do anything but to witness the unfolding of this tragic event.
The screening of 'Retouch' at the Swiss event will mark the 72nd occasion that the Iranian flick was shown at a film festival.
The 32nd edition of Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF) will be held on March 16-24, 2018.
The festival aims to promote quality films and contribute to ensuring cinematographic and cultural diversity in Switzerland as well as throughout Europe, the festival's website wrote.
